| I saw a bit of it at the weekend. The programme is really scraping the barrel now They are absolutely awful, talentless dopes this year (with the possible exception of Johnny, who I understand went out). The show is ridiculous and way past its sell by date. The fomula is tired and predictible.

| I don't know why people were hating on Frankie so much. He was just a young lad having a laugh and enjoying the free publicity he was getting in the papers. People say he was 'forcing' his behaviour but he didn't do anything bad, all he was doing was what loads of older teenage lads do, go out, get wasted, try it on with girls, come back with tales (true or not) of having banged girls.
People got oh-so-offended that his singing was crap BIG DEAL it's the X factor, he's hardly the first crap singer on there, its not like he was in opera or something.
I quite warmed to him, I thought he looked like a good laugh.

Absolutely spot on!
Personally I think booting him off the show is discrimination against someone who lives a lifestyle that is only frowned upon by hypocritical parents (if they didn’t have kids they’d like him) and Mary Whitehouse-esque old people who are bitter about the world. Now we're stuck with bores like Janet Devlin because of them lot!

Damo you've got to be the Frankie of next year's show.
Imagine being in Gary's category...."Lock up your daughters, its Damo" , cue a dramatic shot of Damo suited and booted looking up to the camera with stern face, then a few clips of what you've got up to this week, drinking beer, shagging Leeds slags, a few comments looking for the sympathy vote "I were on't dole before X factor, it's best thing ave ever done in me life is this, ah just don't wannit t'end thor", then give us a stunning rendition of "The Circle of Dole....look where it's got me!" song, and Gary to say "that was ab-so-lute-ly fan-tas-tic mate well done"

...followed by Louis asking where was the Damo from the auditions and when was he going to bring the brick-to-the-head back ?

| Shamelessly lifted from facebook:
I can't help but feel Frankie Cocozza's done it all the wrong way round...
This might help, son
1. Possess the ability to sing and therefore obtain a record deal
2. Promotion, Promotion, Promotion
3. Turn-up at high-calibre celebrity events and smile for the cameras
4. Become increasingly addicted to Bottled Beers & Jack Daniels Chasers
5. Carry out a 360-date World Tour
6. Employ the services of a 'runner' to locate & source drugs in order to stop you feeling so tired & drained
6. Your day doesn't begin without several lines of coke and a bottle of Jägermeister
7. After years of upholding your clean-cut image - the media manage to get hold of information about your sordid drug abuse and alcoholism
You didn't even get to the final stages of a family-based karaoke competition, lad.

| Announced that one of the acts booted by the judges in the first week will be invited back to fill the spot vacated by Frankie. Thought one of them (Amelia) was actually quite good. Can't really remember the others.

| Jonjo, surely?
Alright, he was crap in the first live show, but before that he was far better than the other choices, and it was a poor song choice.
The choices are:
Amelia Lily (who's probably pregnant with Frankie's love-child)
2 Shoes (one of whom is up the duff and suspected to be the reason why they had the week 1 twist in the first place)
Jonjo Kerr
James Michael.

| why are the people not good enough for the final 12, now good enough for the final 7? surely Jonnie or the Risk would be better replacements.....?

| Well, if we're going down that route, the only fair way would be to allow Johnny back in. The Risk were less popular, in theory Johnny could have been 3rd least popular.
The way I see it is that the public were never allowed to decide on these acts, and someone spotted the chance to have another phone vote and earn some more money...
