It was a good win and i hope it continues but i still think we need to change our coaching/drinking team if we are to be serious in our super league bid.



Matt has taken us as far as he can.



I am sure we willl slaughter keighley on thursday and the BODs will think everything is rosy



We need a strict no nonsense coach to come in and get everybody back on form and at top fitness.



We should not be losing to anybody with the team we have and reserves we have if they were trained properly.



Now is the time to sort it out and not wait until it is too late

But i am a realist and Matt and martin should have been sacked last year after the debracle at the nines competition when they could not even go to the game because they were too drunk. They were put up in front of the BOds then but tehy bottled it and gave them another chance. I think they are blowing that chance now.



I cant stand seeing halifax lose especially if it is to do with poor coaching and no game plans

So - Fax didnt lose today - so why feel that you have to comment on getting rid of the coach? What purpose does it serve? If you are Halifax through and through then why post this rubbish?

because toulouse are CR#P and keighley are not much better so this win proves nothing. if you want to be satisfied with mediocre(spelling???) then go ahead but wind your neck in and if you dont like my opinion then do one.

your right the opposition was cr@p but the performace and attitude was the key today, both were good.



We could have won by 12 pts shipped in a lot of tries and played poop, we didn't, our defence looked organised and we eventually looked like a team that could score at will.

Its not about accepting mediocrity. Its about supporting the team - and your post isnt doing that. Did you go today? Did you think the team played crap? What about the game plan - did you think we had one?

as i said before i hope it does continue but the same happened last year, we dropped off at the end of the season and only beat featherstone just after they had played more play off games and we had been resting and then we just had the edge.

Why get rid of Martin Hall? He is responsible for bringing players in-which he has done and often them players are quality-Branighan, Maloney, OstickSaid etc. You are always going to get some players who fail to deliver. But then having no reserve team does not really help these players find form or have match fitness when called upon. I think its good that we have somebody to coach and somebody to worry about things away from the training and playing side of things. Regarding Matt Calland-he still has to show that he has what it takes to be a decent coach. That continues on Thursday. Solid team performance doing the basics right with a couple of various attacking options other than just a quick play the ball and us defending and cutting out the silly penalties. Its up to him to show us in the next week or so what he can do.

i did not say that. Ovenden would have pushed toulouse today. we were more organised and we were better but there is along way to go to get back to our best. I just think we wont get there with matt I hope i am wrong if we keep him
