, we are only early days in our League and most have still to play each other , as I keep saying our next 6 matches will shape our season , after that I will start looking at the League , my point is , how many matches can anybody afford to lose and still finish in the Top 2 ?I reckon 4 .

It certainly seems to be a crazy set up with teams fighting for the top 2 this season so they can effectively be the bottom 2 in the middle 8 with little chance of competing with the 4 SL clubs(and maybe bottom 2 this season) when the split happens next season.



The RFL will change the ins and outs after a few seasons when they realize teams from the Championship have little chance of bridging the gap and Sky start to put pressure on them for that to happen to up the excitement.

and if you finish in the Top 2 this season your Reward is £500,000 and £450,000 respectively , compared to £200,000 if you finish 3rd and reducing drastically for the lower you finish , meaning it is essential to finish in the Top 2 to compete with the likes of London and Bradford who are both Favorites for the drop .





It has already been stated that if Leigh finish in the Top 2 this season most if not ALL of our Squad next season will be full time players , and we will have the cash to attract better standard of players , whereas finishing outside the Top 2 is virtually "Good Night Irene ",for the other clubs , I though you Faxers would know this , cmon Halifaxjohn educate your fellow Faxers .As im sure YOU know .
