A vast improvement is needed to take owt from this game. A banker you would have thought at the start of the season but with our displays to date who knows. I'm thinking a tight first twenty minutes and then hopefully we will finally find our feet and get going. I'll go for Fax 32v14 Lions.

The way performed against Batley and then last week, Fax by 8. I think our points difference this season, like last, will be of some concern.

I see little in recent performances to excite me about the game or our potential performance. Whilst I am sure Fax will win hopefully I'll see something to encourage me.

Ben Johnston back in squad-not sure what that means as no pivotal absentees...looks like Barber/Kidd dropped from last week..not sure how fair that is as game was lost while they were on bench and no-one saw second half..

I'll go with Fax trying to improve their discipline and making some progress but still giving a few too many penalties away.

I see our main threat coming out from deep with Sharp, Salty, Robinson making the yards to set up the field position with the chance of getting some points for on the scoreboard.

From all accounts Swinton have a decent attack and played well against Toulouse so it will be an interesting test of our up to now leaky defence.

I've never been a fan of Marshall' s and I think we've been poor since the second year of his tenure. His inability to develop the squad/team and his poor coaching have been somewhat hidden by fluking the top4 in the last couple of years. We've been consistently inconsistent, played (in general) mistake riddled one man rugby and failed to kick on in spite of bringing in an extra £1.5M in prize money during his time. This year he has arguably spent the most he's ever had and put together a poor team with too many journeyman... Time to go or be shown the door for me but I've been saying it for 1-2 years now and I fear were too skint to do anything about it....
