Well, the press release sounds rather worrying, is it partly due to cost cutting?



I remember the optimism last time we were looking for a coach as Karl was available. I don't see the next coach being too exciting, and we maybe should be prepared for a dissapointment?



So, any ideas who we would/could go for?



Maybe Dave Larder? Cummings? Diskin has just retired? Bally?

Hes 28!! He's still got a lot of playing in him yet

Please nobody with history at the club and that includes Bally yes!! Someone with recent super league experience and who has been in the game recently at the top, maybe retired player with assistant coach experience, fact is though also can we afford anyone like that.

Danny Orr

Pretty sure we could get Noble on a part time deal, doubt he would cost much (he will still be being paid by Dr Koucash). He did great things in his time at Wigan to put them back on the right track.

Player Coach

Terrible idea. Half back has enough to worry about without coaching the team.

Plus the fact that so much responsibility so young would ruin his playing career. Orr would be a great shout if he'd come, things going well at Cas though. Long?

They interview and try and get the right person, as has been said leaving sentiment out of it.



If you think about it there are now only 12 SL teams next season and you could probably say we are about the 5th most sort after job in this division allowing for teams above us. there will be no shortage of people wanting this job especially when they see the team on paper that is already signed up for next season. It will then be up to them to get the best out of those players and improve them something which KH has had a lot of trouble with.

The board basically have the most important decision in the clubs recent history in appointing a new coach. Bad choice means continued downward spiral, good choice could kick start the clubs revival.

Sounds like we have very linited resources though, restricting our choice
