Yes he did go to Northern only John Lyons stayed who was also part of the deal. We sold Medley for 70k IIRC.

Medders got a very serious head injury playing for us, it almost cost him more than his career & was very lucky to survive it, maybe under the better medical rules nowadays it might have finished his playing career. He's a lovely bloke, great coach with the kids, i understand he's recently left Bulls to take up a role at the RFL.

Wasn't he in charge of the youth setup at the Bulls and has gone to the RFL in a similar capacity, highly thought of I hear.

I was in the corner where Pendlebury knocked the ball out of Loughlin / Ledger's hands as he was diving to score. Everyone shouted 'dropped it !'
