| Disappointing result as we were on top for 60 minutes in my opinion. Need to weigh in with more points than 2 tries for all that pressure. Not sure why Fairbank wasn't playing but I thought we missed him, Adam Robbo for me adds nothing. I honestly thought the game turned on their second try, think it was Lee Smith, my instant reaction was that there was an obvious obstruction in our line by a Leigh player that gave Smith a half yard. Will have to wait and see the replay but Leigh got on a roll after that and we looked spent. If we had been given a penalty then the momentum might not have shifted. All if and buts though and fair play to Leigh for sticking at it. Thought Tangata had another good game and also Saxton and Miles did well on their return to the side. No need to panic but we really do need to stop the rot.

| Thought we went well for 60 minutes and a couple of crucial plays turned the game. Can't fault effort and as been said great to se Miles back.
Last season after 6 games we had 6 points having lost to Leigh, Fev and London, but had beaten Batley away, so let's not get too paranoid, it's still early days. Keep the Faith.

I was thinking the same myself - this time last year we were still enduring the Alex Brown episode. I think we are nearly there and hopefully we will hit our sweet spot soon. I think we all hoped we would kick on from where we left off but not sure how realistic this was. Someone said that 5 of our lads had to have operations in the off season so think that will have had some impact. It was great to see Miles looking so strong and good to have Tommy back - although he isn't that fast now , his grit and experience are really valuable. We could have done with him for the Batley game.
We still have Potts to return, Tyrer said on Facebook that he should be back soon and is looking good. There is still Grix too but not sure whether the intention is for him to play or just coach.
We could just do with a win now to build confidence

Thought Smith's try was fair,we just took the dummy-Calahane i think. Was right in front of me and i'm as biased as you can be.

| It was Richard Moore that shot out of the line and took the dummy, just like he did against Batley that lead to their second try. I think a few brain fart moments cost us. Why do we charge the ball down, how often to you gain something from it. The 2nd one led to them getting field position for their second try. Why, when we managed to steal the ball back near our own line do we try to an impossible off-load and give it straight back. And a couple of soft penalties on last tackles.
But also a game of fine margins, if Saxton gets his hand to the ball, we are 3 scores up. Mile's gets to the kick through and we go back in front.
And I don't think Johhno actually worked that well at 6/7. We seemed very disorganised down the right hand side, I don't think he steps well on that side and the only decent pass we made down that side is when Moore switched across and put Tangata in. Plus we had less kicking options in open field meaning all the pressure is on Moore (who I thought had another good game).

From my view it looked like there was a Leigh player stood in our line that blocked off the inside defender meaning he couldn't cover across and tackle Smith. I'm one of the least biased people you will meet, if it's a genuine try there will be no complaints. My instant initial view of it was, it was obstruction. I maybe completely wrong I guess we will soon see.

| Just watched it about ten times, at the play of the ball Leigh use a dummy runner, as the ball passes him he stops, Moore comes out quick of the line to make the tackle but misses, another of your lads comes across but the Leigh player is blocking his path.
Think the ref missed it because the Leigh player stopped and didn't run into anyone.

| Maybe we did over achieve last season. The new signings haven't really been up to scratch apart from G Moore who was excellent and wears his heart on his sleeve. Would like Brandon Moore to be given a chance instead of Ryan at hooker. Miles was fantastic at fullback. It was a game of two half's and unfortunately in that first half we didn't post enough points. Leigh are a quality team and that was evident in second half. I thought Moi Moi runs really got you on front foot in second half.

| We are not that far off we need to stop giving stupid penalties away on the 4th or 5th tackle for a start its ok blaming players that are not at there best at the mo going forward when we keep teams in there own 30 mtr and give a silly penalty boils me we do it far too often. Lets just get back to basics and the scores will come our way.A nice easy win (hopefully) this weekend then a good 2 points away at Oldham, then hit the straps against Bradford season all changes then UTFAX

| Same theme as the other defeats really. As has been mentioned, extremely frustrating when our defence is excellent bar in our own 10/20. The tries they scored were all soft in honesty. Agree on the assessment of players, definitely keep Tangata in the second row so he plays big minutes. I felt desperately sorry for Adam Robinson, tried his best, but so out of his depth against full time opponents it was hard to watch. Jonno needs time to bed in at half back, he was rusty for sure. One thing I disagree with, thought Maneely was excellent to be honest, especially his first spell. When Connor Robinson came on, yes his passing is good, but his game management and options are poor.
