So turn down potential sponsors due to ‘perhaps’ getting in the top 4 just in case we get Leeds?, and then go back cap in hand when we don’t make the 4 only to be told to do one?? I’d rather have the money in the bank. Who is to say how many of these sponsors were signed up before the end of the regular season. Also it maintains the relationship with the existing sponsor. If I’d put £5k into sponsoring the club, only to be told ‘sorry, you can’t have that patch on the shirt because XYZ have offered us £8k for it’, only for 12 months later the club to come back and ask if I wanted to sponsor - I know what my answer would be!!

You have experience of filing accounts then? No chance it could be Companies House late to update?

Yes, I have actually. And in my experience Companies House have never been 10 days late in updating.

Club going down hill since the new board took over then..........

I filed some yesterday and they were available to the public inside ten minutes, let alone ten days.

But not as fast as the ones before ........

Its a great opportunity now for someone new to get involved..........

Agreed "new faces and new impetus required for another upward push , time to move to the next chapter of the fax book and not bogged down by the past . The time is right

Certainly the club will need new faces with Mark Moore stepping down from his involvement in the club at the end of the season. I know he was not everyones cup of tea and he clearly has not got on with some past and present Board members but he has put a huge number of hours into the club. I think he was involved in everything from sponsorship to sorting out some of the financial problems, so his departure will create a big gap.



Looking forward the Board have difficult job of building on the success of the "best part-timers". Realistically full time is financially beyond us and so is Super League. I would like them to come out withy a clear statement of what the plan is and what they are aiming for not in detail but at headline level. More than anything I want them to balance the books.

Who is 'them' though? When MM goes, who does that leave at board level?
