How did we afford to take Leighs top earner? Is it possible that they're still paying part of his wages in order to get him off their books?

I thought Acton was their biggest earner. I'm probably wrong but I thought that Larroyer stuck to his guns to ensure that he got what contract money he was owed. Can't blame him, especially after what happened to him at HKR

He’s made some poor choices on where to go recently, let’s hope that if we do sign him thanks improved this time.

That’s how I understand it as well Charlie, just a strong rumour at this time, we’ll just have to wait and see.



What I will say is that I very much doubt he will be staying at Leigh and that I don’t see many SL clubs queueing up for his services.

He might have been our top earner of the half dozen who still haven't been reported to have left. Think of the guys who left for SL clubs, during the season - Hall, Dawson-Jones, Crooks, Matautia, Reynolds, Bodene Thompson, Hansen, Jordan Thompson. Plus Evans, Hutchison, Mortimer, Hood. I would think all of them were on more than Larroyer. Mind you, I reckon he gave better value than many of them!

Im talking of the ones still on contract. Evans and Larroyer's wages were crippling the club. They needed to offload them ASAP. Think this is great business from the club if he actually is part funded by Leigh as I believe.

You are right Norman, there's no chance of Larroyer staying at Leigh, we need to unload his contract, the sooner the better, I'm not sure what he's on though.I've heard once his and Evans monies are sorted we will announce Duffy as coach and about 10 -15 new signings, a few of them ex Leigh players.



For me I can't see Larroyer interesting any SL Clubs, but he would be a very good signing for Fax.

Leigh wont be paying his wages, he will have accepted a severance cash sum which is subsidising his Halifax wage.
