Once again you need to look to Red Hall for that one , something ' Dicky ' and ' Nige ' thought up over morning tea and ' biccies '

| being thats its unlikely the north stand will be sorted in time i think the free tickets should be for the skircoat only and if they still want to attend after the skircoat stand tickets have gone they can pay like anyone else. i dont think its wise to make it all ticket as this has backfired many times in the past as fans often decide on the day to see how they feel and the weather ect. if we make it all ticket many will just think "i will watch it on bbc"

You are obliged to give them a percentage of the available capacity , and to avoid H and S issues ( ie , all 10,000 turning up demanding to be let in ) it is highly unlikely that a council run stadium will not have this match all ticket , let alone the issues of large amounts of money being taken at the turnstiles

because they will have to draw up plans of making calls to contractors to do the work and how long does this usually take the council? i think if it was planned to do soon we would of heard something. i know the council has agreed to pay but getting them to do it is hard work

It is a stupid situation to be in, and another well thought out RFL strategy to get more in at the challenge cup. No offence to other clubs, but if it wasn't Halifax I don't think it would be as big an issue with the season ticket holders. But this game means a lot to both sets of fans, its a derby we haven't had competitively for a long time and one I have been wanting to come up in the challenge cup for a while!
It will be all ticket no doubt about that! And if this was later on in the rounds, it would be a huge money maker for you and that I would guess most Bradford fans with any common sense would feel bad about! I have jokingly said on the bulls board move it to odsal and give Halifax 100% of the ticket sales profit and 50/50 profits from the bar etc so that you can get some money out of it. RFL seriously need to think about this for next season though taking into account what Bulls have done and the liklihood other teams will follow suit as it is harsh on all the fans who have got a ticket and are entitled too a freebie.

It is a big issue to most clubs if you look at the draw , only one all SL clash means around 8 other Championship clubs will make bugger all from this round of the Challenge Cup , with 3 others drawing clubs with no decent traveling support anyway
Basically the Challenge Cup is dead as far as Championship clubs are concerned as a money making venture

I do think you are in a slightly worse situation, but I do see your point, if you get a home draw you should be able to benefit from it! I would suggest the RFL are compensating for it. I would guess though most other fans don't have everyone signed up too a season ticket, so maybe have walk up options. Most people likely to go too a bradford game now have a season ticket.

Not convinced on the legality of that. I think you are able to offer something that is available but limited to a number but not offer something, someone may not benefit from due to luck etc.

But those that don't have their SL season ticket won't go to the game , that's why the brought this daft idea in , because the Challenge cup is a SL competition only now , SL fans will not pay to watch their team play lower league opposition , club or sport eh ?
