Sorry can't after being too close to both bad incidents with some of your fans it has left a very bitter taste in the mouth. You would feel the same I am sure.

Until your fans 'redeem' themselves by accepting defeat like most other RL fans I will not change my mind.

Snipping on a public Internet Forum is not going to help things improve is it? Everyone is entitled to their thoughts but all real fans ought to be trying to calm the situation down.



If views like yours upset the majority of good fans then the bad people feel their actions are more acceptable, and we cannot afford to let that happen

Whilst I accept that posts like that are not now the norm and the conciliatory dialogue is growing in increasing numbers, I find it difficult to rise above some of the generic and unnecessary comments I read on here.

I don't have to "redeem" myself for anything. I've never done or said anything in an abusively aggressive manner to anyone - EVER!!



I've discussed this at length with Fevgrinder and others, and given the job I do you'd think I'd find it easy to put into some kind of perspective.

But this is my achilles heel. I find such generically applied comments wholly offensive as I do the willingness to tar me with the same brush as the aggressors, and because of this I find it difficult to rise above it.



Dialogue and action with the Leigh fans has been nothing short of fantastic - and to be honest, we've got to the point where I consider many of the Leigh lot to be mates now.



I wished it could be similar with the Fax fans but while ever there are some contributors to this forum who would rather perpetuate anger rather than seek concilliation, I fear it is an uphill battle. Not unsurmountable, and it will require an element of developing an ability to ignore their crapola, but an uphill battle all the same.

Robin, that's exactly the reason why i made a point of coming to have a chat with you & Fevgrinder at HT on sunday. Fevgrinder, I've previously only ever met once before over a swift tinny at HT on our most recent visit to your place in the Blue Lagoon with my mate Marky Mark. I offered to bring over a Fax scarf or something similar to pin up in the Lagoon next time I come over.

We had some good craic with some young lads outside the cricketers. They were top lads and up for a laugh.

And I agree dialogue is the begining. But Jeses H Arkwright, some of the posts on here are unbelieveable and have nothing positive to offer whatsoever, though I've noticed over time those posters are begining to appear in the minority now.
