I wasn’t there yesterday so cannot comment too much on the game although by the highlights some of the tries conceded looked woeful.



One massive thing that no one seems to be mentioning which is definitely contributing to our downfall - fitness.



We look unfit in all areas - cardvascular and muscular.



People talk of a high penalty count against us each game... why is that? Because we cannot get back onside, we’re losing the ruck, we’re tired and making mistakes.



We completed our sets well against Dewsbury which meant ultimately didn’t defend as much. Therefore masks the real problem.



The first season we had Andy Hollyhead (conditioner) we looked fit from the off.



Every season since that, we have got better as the season goes on... as we have got fitter.



Just a point, probably too late to start doing Shibden hills on a Tuesday evening now but I bet it would make a huge difference if we were fitter.

Thought York played well, as they have all season beating Leigh at home and Bradford away most people thought they were going to be easy beats.

You are right they played well and we have no devine right to win every game but given last season I would at least expect us to be competing with both York and Fev and not scraping home against two poor teams in Batley and Swinton.

SingaporeFax , might be the case of the Giants and Cas lads being a season long loan, still taking the P1 $$ you name 8 there, 67% of the mach day squad not signed to the club.

Until the RFL grow a pair and sort D/R out and letting some chairmen and clubs run (ruin) the game that is life as we know it, seems either join in or get left behind.

The RFL are the servants of the clubs. If the clubs don't vote to get rid of dual registration, it won't happen.

In discussions like this, it's important to get the facts right.

The other 5 are loans or DR and as such, we are fully compliant with the rules. Turner and Holmes did not feature in the matchday squad and are not relevant.



Please stop crying about it. The opportunity exists just as equally for your club. If you choose not to legally enhance your matchday squad, that's your issue. Not Fev's. Not The RFL's.

Aye, but if 'your' club is being used by other clubs it comes to the stage where it's not really your club any more. Dosen't it?

Regardless of DR and what Fev or any other clubs do in that area it has nothing to do with the fact Fax are still playing like horse poo, but at least you can put that on your roses!!
