A few have said that maybe a new club and coach will do him good, maybe it will. But it wont do anything for the yard or 2 of pace he has lost and his loss of ability to fend of defenders, which he was fantastic at.

Did Karl not fancy running Jarrod Ward rather than bringing in Tommy, after describing him as "big, strong & aggressive, reminds me of Michael Hancock" or something similar pre-season ? And trialling him in the friendlies.

Crossed my mind as well, I think Jarrod is still onboard, did he not recently choose not to go to Swinton and stay and take his chances at Fax.



I think it fits in with KH saying there's no time to mess around so has gone for proven experience with Tommy for the month which will give him some cover and time to look at Jarrod and with Rob recovering quicker than first thought maybe plays a part.
