| Get real, the players are not looking at the bench during the match! and if they do Bally is there
Jowiet was in his glass box yesterday and came down to the pitch side with ten to go about the same time as mat did! much like Eaton did at Keighky the other week, did u ever see frant endecot at wigan and new zeland in the dugout, no he sat in the stands, were does Karl Harrion sit at Batley, in the stands, do u watch Sky, when they pan to the coaches, were are they! sat in the bluudy stands!
A larger number of coaches in many sports watch from an elivated position to get a better view of the game
STOP Press
Matt Calland wears jeans on his day off therore he ust be a bad coach becase he does not wear his fax tracksuit! where his commitment and passion, jeans i ask u the club is doomed, doomed i say doomed!
Double stop press, Matt Calland only has 14 firt players and has to play 3 players who are not fir, he must be a bad coach beacuse of this!
What a load of rubbish,as to Jowitt at Dewsbury,Harrison at Batley and Smiling Frank at Wigan, tell me who are they, were are they and what success have they had.It looks as though someones touched a raw nerve here, may your family and if so i am soory Mrs Calland.
I was saying that when the players are looking for guidence you need to be in the trenches together not 50 yrds away shifting the responability to someone who has never won anything, yes i am refering to "Bally."

| I agree with Calland on this one, you get the best views from the stands, its not even worth a debate.

It seems to be the way of things now in RL but I have to ask why do all the footy managers still stay pitch side like in the World Cup?
We are bad at setting then following new trends in our game.
What do RL players think - anybody?

In a way we were a little unlucky not to sneak a win as Shads try was a definate try with a couple minutes to go which I think we would have won from there if it had been given but it wasn't so hey ho...
'"
Had that been given, I think we would have won, even the Dewsbury Water Carrier turned to us and said "Thats a Try that".

Okay lets agree that Jowitt, Harrison and Frank have no success, but that doesnt mean that their lack of success is because they are in the stand.
Lets expand it.
Where does Potter (St Helens) sit. Where does Mcguire (Wigan) sit, where does Smith (Warrington) sit. They ALL sit high up in the stands. Now they are the top three teams in Superleague. Now lets expand it further, have you ever watched the NRL on television, the coaches of the top Australian team all seem to sit high in the stands, mostly behind glass boxes. Have you seen the "State of Origin" games, the coaches of those team all sit high up in the stands, behind glass boxes.
Now then, where the chuff is the argument that just because the coach is not in the dug-out he is rubbish???

Besides, Malcom Reilly used to stand anywhere where people weren't at. He had it sussed. I think Matt should stand amongst the Barmy Army and shout along with the rabble.

You need a lot more fitness to play Rugby League than a soccer especially a Goalkeeper. And having one or two old heads is OK-but we have too many. We have Larder, Holroyd, Gene, Wrench, Aizue, Watene, Tamghart who are 30 or older and many are forwards where the most work is done.
Steve Price has done nothing for 2 years and do not think he has played this year due to injury. Cunningham also has missed a lot of games over the past 2 years and is not anywhere near as good as he was 5 years ago. Senior is not as good as he was neither.Menzies is an exception.

Ignoring the footballers because, well, there puffs;
Kerion Cunningham - Rugby Leauge - 33 - Played 30 minute spells for the last three years.
Keith Senior - Rugby League - 34 - Plays , not in the pack.
Steve Price NRL - 35 Rugby Leauge - Played sparcely for the last few years.
Steve Menzies-36 Rugby Leauge - Always was a freakish athelete.

Danny Fleming has been back from Rochdale for nearly 5 weeks now. Matt Calland cant even acknowlegde him so hes not gonna play him. !!!!
