Whilst overjoyed at today's result I can't help feeling that my day has been somewhat spoiled by the sad, no, devastating news that Bradford have been knocked out.

Fancy letting big clubs like them in at these early rounds.

always going to be a one sided game after the usual first 10 minute spell of the amateurs giving it there best shot. Hats off to Pilks they looked a decent side in that spell but were never going to stay with us.

Very impressed with Brandon Moore who should have earned himself a spot for Oldham. The young prop whilst looking very green, he also had a very good game and took some putting down and definitely one for the future. Connor Robinson had a decent game as well but Gaz Moore had a hand in everything and was MOM by a mile for me, and looked like he had not even got out of second gear. Richard Moore and Luke Ambler were very good and hopefully we will see more of that form in the coming weeks. Tangata looks such a good player this year and he is getting better and better every game.

Overall a better performance albeit against an amateur team but its time to crank it up a level in the League starting with Oldham.

Will Fax be concentrating on the Cup this year. Great result for you guys.

Tyrer says could be possible ruptured or torn calf but won't know really till swelling goes down.Miles looked ok after game bump on head and mark below eye.Pilkington did really well, and the lads really put their all into the game.Hope the Pilkington lads who took a knock are ok and that they have a good season.They play at Siddal in June so may pop over to the game.

We will of course be concentrating on the cup, we always do, so much so that sometimes we forget who can play or not.







Incidentally, before the start of last season you Bulls "fans" (particularly that dolt rumpetypumpety) were all over this forum telling us how promotion was a cert and how you were too good for this league, strange, gone quiet!
