I don't care how many fans we take on Sunday as long as they turn up for the home matches next season. Every club will have fans who only turn up to finals, the trick is to convert them into being regulars
Oh and for what it's worth I personally think some of the figures on here for the Fev support have been a tad optimistic.Had the game been at Headingley then 4 to 5 thousand might have been realistic.

Why are we arguing about who sold the most tickets, surely we should be happy that there will be a good crowd on Sunday and that is because two TRADITIONAL HEARTLAND CLUBS are in the Grand Final and this will show the RFL hiearcarchy and especially the Fat Controller that the game is still alive and kicking in its strongholds despite his best efforts to almost kill us off!

Well said ,instead of argueing against each other we should be questioning the RFL as to why after our clubs staff have finished flogging themselves to death all week selling tickets we do not see one penny piece as reward .It doesn`t matter how many tickets we sell we do not get any percentage of ticket sales or any gate money.Unlike the Super League final where clubs (even amature clubs who run a trip) get a very nice return for tickets sold .We may get the prize money pay out but there again the RFL are not treating all clubs the same. |
