Just finished watching ENG NZ game thought the whole team were oustanding in defence! But shenton really stood out for me, IMO i reckon he wasnt far off hitting the 30 tackle mark!

wow, i was far out! haha, it just seemed he seem to be around the tackle everytime haha.

On 17 tackles?, is that all Shenton did?, sure he did more than that....must have been getting him mixed up with Tomkins through the beer goggles





Did'nt let anyone down again, think he will be ok for the final,not sure about Bridge on the other side,be tempted to play ellis there, reckon shenny will be up against jennings in the final



either way what an experience for him,can't wait for the final got my tickets already

the reason he only made 17 is because the stats only count the first 2 men into the tackle, if you watch the game again youl see shenton came in 3rd man to take the legs a few time last night, he did well, doesnt lok out of place in the international scene.



i just hopw he gets some more service next week.

I agree. It seems that most of England attack seems to be shifted to the other wing, whereas the combination of Hall, Shenton, Ellis is more defensive.

It's working as well. The England left has been pretty resolute for the past two weeks.

Got my ticket for saturday can not wait on Mickey he did well he was looking after young Tompkins in defence and moved in a a player and to more defending than normal.

Eastmond is going to be outstanding in a few years, let's hope he stays in our code.



And though it pains me to say it, Tomkins is also going to be fantastic.

Shenny has been great all series - solid in defence. Has been a credit to the Cas youth system

Went to my 1st International game on Saturday at the Galpharm, and was dissapointed by a large group of fans around me constantly slagging Shenny off and even booing when his name was read out.

Saying he'd never get into any squad apart from the Cas squad and he has no right to be there at international level, i have no idea why!



I really had to bite my tounge on this one
