| Quote Speedy="Speedy"No battle to be had, Good luck to you and your stadiium, but all i was saying is that you are now back level with cas regarding planning permission, your funding i believe is dependant on so many B8 units being sold before this happens, as ours requires the sale of the stadium before we can proceed'"
They don't have planning permission yet, they can apply for it now though, right?

| Quote kinleycat="kinleycat"Agree with Vastman on all point!!!
We have taken a huge leap, and TBH this conversation should be on our forum (apolgies) but it is hugely valid.
If SL is going to 12, we have given ourselves a very realistic chance of being in it, our club has changed hugely in the last 18 months and continues to, and could as Vastman suggests be putting ourselves well up the order, something prior to the demise of the old regime i didn't think would be possible.
You guys need to pull a rabbit, and i mean that sincerely!!'"
We prefer to leave that sort of thing to the Cappers....but I get your drift.

| To be honest you should be wanting this Stadium to happen. What happens if you don't get yours built at least there will be an option to use the community stadium until you build your own thus keeping your superleague status. If it had been the other way round and we had to stay at Glasshoughton until we could find our own stadium then so be it i would say.

True, I was mearly pointing out that ours was a better stadium design wise - I don't know but I suspect the two older stands at HKR may be a bit lacking by modern standards - however how relevant that is I don't know.

Wrong, we already had outline planning permission granted by Wakefield Planning dept - it was then pulled in for a review by the DE which has now rubber stamped it.

It would be interesting to see how the RFL dealt with bids in which both Wakey and Cas stated an intention to play at NM...especially for a 12 club league.

A statement from Dickie.
www.castigers.com/article.php?id=2337
Nothing new to be said. I thought we were at an advanced stage with signing this supermarket deal? Also i thought Dickie had resigned?

| Bit of a disappointing response really, but there again I would not have expected anything else to be said at the moment. There is nothing in the statement that has not been said before, and the clock is ticking. We need some definite news asap and certainly before the end of the season. I suppose it depends on the supermarkets concerned and how fast they are moving.
