To be honest you should be wanting this Stadium to happen. What happens if you don't get yours built at least there will be an option to use the community stadium until you build your own thus keeping your superleague status. If it had been the other way round and we had to stay at Glasshoughton until we could find our own stadium then so be it i would say.

True, I was mearly pointing out that ours was a better stadium design wise - I don't know but I suspect the two older stands at HKR may be a bit lacking by modern standards - however how relevant that is I don't know.

Wrong, we already had outline planning permission granted by Wakefield Planning dept - it was then pulled in for a review by the DE which has now rubber stamped it.

It would be interesting to see how the RFL dealt with bids in which both Wakey and Cas stated an intention to play at NM...especially for a 12 club league.

Bit of a disappointing response really, but there again I would not have expected anything else to be said at the moment. There is nothing in the statement that has not been said before, and the clock is ticking. We need some definite news asap and certainly before the end of the season. I suppose it depends on the supermarkets concerned and how fast they are moving.
