Yet the club threw silly money at Sherwin,Hudson and Mcgoldick. No way on god's earth were they worth the money

I can sympathise with you on this one - Shudds don't need to bother with an academy set-up, so long as they've got WTW and Cas doing it for them, and access to Uncle Ken's bottomless chequebook.

Jackson, Hudson & Snitch are all Wakefield products I think? Jones & Aspinwall from the Wigan setup & Fozzard from Leeds. Kyle Wood is a product of Castleford junior rugby but not sure where he served his academy years.
I don't think there are any Huddersfield products in the Castleford squad.
Any the Giants aren't doing anything wrong by the way, it's good to see them investing in young English players, it'd just be nicer if we could keep ours at our club but that's our problem, not yours. |
