| @Marshman every try in the game came off the back of a penalty, but that can't be too surprising considering the fact that the game averaged 1 penalty every 3 minutes (well actually just under 3 but I cba with decimals).
I think that tonght's match was a good game but would have been a superb game and could have gone either way if it wasn't for an unacceptable performance from the ref.

| They probably did Panda, that's why I mentioned my biased spec's. The game seemed to go into decline early on, and turn in to that ugly arm swinging, niggling game and I couldn't help but think it was all his fault. I don't have any confidence in his ability to control a game. We've had him twice now and he's been truly awful in both games. That said, we've won them both, so here's to him reff'ing us again next week! lol

| This game was an incredible shame for me. Not for the fact that we lost - I thought Castleford played with real passion and produced some excellent Rugby League at times, as did we - but the fact that it was completly destroyed by what was the worst refreeing performance I have ever seen in a proffesional RL game.
This game will unfortunetly not be remembered for the result, but for the ref - and that is not what sport is about.
Childs completly lost control of this game and then went on to let the crowd get to him - plain and simple. And yes, he was appalling bad for both teams.
Hull have now made an official complaint to the match commissioner, it wouldn't surprise me if Cas follow suit - so the next few days could be interesting.

Think that comment is totally unfair.Nobody likes being beaten, especially at home, but we have learned to accept seeing it.As for the small team comment I think you will find a majority of F.C. fans have respect for Cas and the fans.

| I thought last night had the potential to be a great game of rugby league with both sides playing with a lot of passion. The result could have gone either way to be honest, and I've got no complaints that Castleford won, but the game was never going to flow with Childs blowing his whistle every other tackle, the guy is a complete disgrace. On a more positive note, it was nice to see some away fans at the KC for a change, well over 1000 of you guys there tonight, great effort fellas

Absolutely, i think a lot of hull fans have cas as their "2nd" team and vice versa, the fans always get on well at the games and travel in good numbers to each others ground for the fixtures, however the referee not only has had the players fighting but has fans squabbling on here, good luck for the rest of the season hull, i fear you may need it with aaaaarrrrgggghh...ar in charge

And the feeling is mutual, just that some of you seem to find losing at home to cas is unaceptable
It would not surprise me at all if you turned us over at our place, but it wouldn't make me think your any better than cas and vica versa

Then why are a lot of your fans saying "we shouldn't be losing to teams like Cas" , "losing to Cas is bad enough" and "we shouldn't lose to the likes of Cas at home" that shows a blatant like of both respect and a view on the game that is realistic.
Or my favourite "Cas don't even look like a good team" ...when really they didn't get out of second gear because of a certain egomaniac with a whistle ruining the flow of the game.
