I think Sir Kev though he couldn't do the job justice so walked away.JJB must think he's up to the job otherwise he would have turned the job down. JJB must think he can do the job otherwise he would have walked away.

The challenge is this is a sporting organisation that needs success on the field to grow and develop the brand/organisation.


As an observer looking in it seems the commercial personnel are far more proficient than their counterparts on the rugby playing side.


We must also put things into context - this is a SME of modest revenues and profits.  


This business cannot progress to the next level with a team that regularly fails to even make the playoffs.

Every time he is SKY he refers to how the golden generation did things - he needs to move on to the reality of how RL is coached/played these days

His role as CEO will have nothing to do with how RL is Coached/Played that's why we now have a Director of Rugby.
