Will we miss him much?

And btw this is not a thread having a go at Kallum Watkins at all.

I think you would have won had he played tonight.

I think tonight showed we miss him, he's a quality winger and a specialist winger, Watkins is a young inexperienced centre playing wing but he's only going to improve and fulfil his potential by playing games and now he's got his chance. I hope once Leeds get back to hitting there straps Watkins has a fabulous season and is knocking on the door for a centre spot next season.

Never thought I'd say it, but we certainly missed Scotty last night, and I hope those two blown chances dont affect Watkin's confidence.

I have to hold my hands up. A critic of Donald I have not shyed away from. I called for Watkins to be playing wing instead of him, and although not pleased with Donalds injury, was pleased to see us have to go with Watkins on the wing.



I ate humble pie last night. Watkins is not a finisher and far from it. Donald would have scored those two with ease last night. I actually think he would have stood a fair chance with the kick one aswell that Watkins divered over.

Scotty would have finished Watkins' chances with his eyes closed - he scores those tries week after week. We would have won the game if he was playing.

I think he'd have probably scored one of those two efforts in that scenario, but (without taking this debate way too deep) his inclusion would have taken the match in a completely different direction which none of us can predict.

I don't think he would have finished either personally. Watkins did well under pressure to get as close to grounding both as he did.

I think he'd have got the first one relatively comfortably. Watkins was under pressure but that's the kind of thing an experienced winger is used to.

Anymore excuses for your Back2Back WCC failures and I might just die of laughter

I've got to say it's harsh to blame Watkins i've seen international players butcher better chances that occured last night.
