i would have traded several seasons of nothing for last years events so I'm cool with a bit of re shaping because imo that is all it will take to get things back, the squad is still a good one on the whole.

What puzzles me about Sutcliffe is that he did look like the 'real deal' before his injury. His performance at Saints' ground last season was imperious. Now....

yes we massively lack a creative spark it doesn't take a genius to work that out.we are missing both our halves from last year bound to have an effect.One returns shortly im sure we will see improvement.Im not excusing the direness of the last 2 games by the way, absolutely shocking.

No sorry, but Sutcliffe has never looked the real deal. He had the one good game, which just about every player in rugby league has at least once in their career. Can anyone truthfully say that Sutcliffe has shown anything to suggest he is better than Gaskell was in his first full year at Saints? Then look what happened there, Saints used their head and could see the shortages to his game.

Is he such a bad coach that he was able to win so much because he inherited a great team?

Current results, total lack of structure in defence and attack, absolutely no intensity either side of the ball and no leaders seem to all point in the direction that the coaching is lacking.

It has been a long time since I've seen us (and super league in general) as poor as this.
