Now that Donald has a proper Centre at the side of him I think that he is gonna be challenging Hall for the leading try scorer, plus the fact that eastwood will team up with them and that the opposition maybe expecting us to go down the left all the time. This season we look to be eaqually strong either side

Totally agree - It's mouth watering to think of Hall/Senior on one side and Delaney/Donald on t'other.

Donald also has a new contract to work for. Should a great year for us down that side.

I still remember his first season and I'll admit it, I wanted shut of him as he was poor. But he has turned it around and I've eaten my own words. I think he has been one of the best wingers of the Sl era. He isnt flash he just does the job. i expect a big haul from him this year now he has a recognised centre inside him. Not that im knocking Smith, but Smith tended to go for the line instead of looking for the pass.

I agree - 1st season i was waiting for him to break the line and run the length of the pitch but it never really happened for him, his second season was much better and he reall pushed on since then, with Senior inside him he scored trys for fun, Smith, yes liked to score himself but I dont get that impression from Delaney, very much looking forward to the Eastwood/Delaney/Donald combo's

I wouldnt say his first season was poor. In some areas he was better than 07.

Wowwee. That would have really proved beyond all doubt that he'd had a great season.

I don't agree, I think he played well in 2006 (he finished top scorer), the team as a whole underperformed that year and Donald had a very bad game in the CC semi final loss to Huddersfield (IMO some other Leeds players were just as bad that day) which I think sticks in people’s minds from that year, given that he's been switched sides and quite a lot in his Leeds career I can't see many wingers who could have done much more.

As someone who defended him a lot 1st season, but now thinks he is average, I would like to see that comparison.



Edit now seen the stats (dont know how to put a picture on here). Just as I thought, he was far better in 2006 to 2009. Could never understand why he was critisized in 2006, same way as can't understand why he was not more last year.
