this tread may finish before its even started cos i mayb wrong but i only saw mcshane for about 10 mins,why if i am right have someone on the bench to only play him that amount of time even more so with it being so warm out there....

I think he came on after 30 mins and then started the 2nd half so played longer than 10 mins. He did well although maybe overused going himself near the line. He looks good at SL level and hopefully will be used more while Diskin is out.

He's a long way off being a top drawer no9 for me yet.. he's got potential and needs a run of games but the difference between him and Buderus was huge (to be expected though in fairness).

seen him a couple of times once at quins and once at HQ playing against the Crusaders. By no means the finished article and I am sorry to say he currently reminds me of Dean Lawford!! However if he can kick on, not get stuck in Dean Lawford mode and keep improving he has the makings of a good number 9.

Unless the situation has changed since last week, Gary Hetherington appeared to rule out McShane being loaned out again this season.
Diskin will be unavailable for a number of weeks and any loan deal with McShane has to be for a minimum of a month ruling him unavailable for Leeds for the duration.
Not sure Castleford would be a preferable option after the Jonny Hepworth 'loan' deal went sour.
