he was shocking but that doesnt excuse our poor discipline, lack of a game plan, our lack of ability to complete sets and build pressure

Child is awful as a ref. I am surprised every game he refs does not end up with a brawl as he fails to control the game. He compounds his failure to control games with his mind numbingly baffling decisions. Today the Cats try that was reminiscent of a union try and the Leeds play of the ball after the hooter had gone for half time to name just two of many.

He is a referee who brings out the worst in players.

And at least we'll have the 'consolation' of Cummins coming out again this week to confirm that the Blanch try should never have been given

that ref was e but we were crap no game plan ,how far are we going to drop before we get bmd out

Only a chump who cared more about results of one game than the game as a whole would celebrate Child's performance

Lets face ir Childs is alway poor, I've yet to see him ref a Leeds game where he doesn't penalise the out of our team. Each side produces the same range on penalty type offences but he just does us. I'd like to see the number of games we've had him this year, how many we've won and what the penalty count was he's absolute $hi4te, whilst I admit the better side clearly won on the day the decison making through the game can clearly influence the end result. This was typified by the Blanche try for which he had the best view only standing a yard from the play.......he's a knob...nuff said

This is not a [i"we was beat by the ref"[/i because we weren't. We were completely out played in every department and the scoreline flattered us, but...



Child is so far out of his depth it's embarrassing. This guy is would be out of his depth reffing a schoolboy under 12's nine's game.



Look up the word "inconsistent" in the Oxford English Dictionary and you'll be presented with a picture of James Child. He takes uselessness to a whole new level.

Although we wouldn't have won with a decent ref I have to say Child's is absolutely shocking!!
