I remember Jodie Broughton making a solitary appearance on boxing day about a decade ago.

Tom Bush played a handful of games for us at the run of the decade. He used to stand with us on the Southstand. Now at York I believe.



I enjoyed when he played reverting to being 14 years old and joining in with the 'We all love Bush' song.

I'm sure that he kicked a goal from the touchline to draw the game

you’re right, London we’re 2 try’s behind, botham got a try then someone went over in the corner, botham took the kick from the touch line as their kicker was having a bad day and had possibly gone off.



I remember some bloke chasing botham down the touchline shouting remember who pays your wages!

Aye, during that glorious, drunken 2004 season. Greatest season ever.

I was there that day. threw it way.kick was right on the touchline. great kick to be fair

Scored late in the semi against Leigh at Fartown to win it for us. A roofless Fartown, as I remember the top of the stand had blown off. Des Drummond "scored" for Leigh one of those fabulous "I dropped the ball spectacularly as I dove over and the ref didn't see it 'cos he was 40 yards behind play" tries. Much like David Laws in the CC semi at Elland Road.



Why can I remember all this rubbish?

I was at the game and must have returned home moaning that one of our own and kicked the goal that resulted in a draw, it was a great kick as I remember. Anyway cut to the next home game where we had taken a table in corporate and had Liam as a guest on our table. My Mrs sat next to him and regaled him with the tale of how gutted I had been about one of our players..........



She had no idea who he was at the time (I told her later) He was a true a gent and just nodded and sympathised. It was a shame that his career was cut short by injury.
