I agree that Bailey played very well also but I felt that Buderus really got our attacking going, putting us on the front foot time and time again as he targeted the lazy defenders and his defence was also top notch. Whilst Bailey played very well, he nearly committed a game losing penalty. McGuire caused danger all match and brought some good support play to finish the tries, he dropped 1/2 and probably didn't have as much influence for me as Buderus did, that said though he had a great game and if he hadn't have played we would have lost. |

I just don't get it. More praise for bailey.
He played ok. For me his contribution was nowhere near worthy of the praise being heaped on him on here.
He nearly cost us the game with his poor discipline. His last two performances have been very ordinary.

Played a crucial role in "overworking" Graham and building momentum in the 2nd half mate watched it again this morning and he was good.
What about the loose carry from Danny Mags,Eastwood interception,Clarkson/jjb penalties all lead/could of lead to scores costing us the game.
They all played a role for a great TEAM win but it was'nt just Bailey that made a mistake just as it was'nt just because of Mags or Buderus we won it was a collective effort both positive and negative and we got the job done. |
