I understand the system of selecting the greatest ever Leeds team is not entirely down to this fans vote and its down to Harry Jepson and a panel having final say.Hving looked at this online vote fans have voted for players of this era of the last 10-12 years etc..I go back a bit further and I missed Arthur Clues ,however based on what I heard over the years and read and the esteem he is still held I voted for Clues.There are lots of players down that list who didnt get a vote who were excellent number 12s i.e Bernard Poole ETC.I am looking forward to the final selection

You've got to feel a bit sorry for Jamie Jones who probably would've stood a decent chance based on his consistency and dedication alone, and yet is put in a category with Ellis who never even wore 11 at Leeds. Ouch.

Had I seen him play I am sure I would have gone for Arthur Clues, but I have stuck to players I watched regulary and so my vote was for Bob Haigh who forme just pipps Graham Eccles

Despite him being an 11 I'd probably agree from those I've seen.



Don't really understand why some Leeds' so called greats don't have full christian names. It's almost as if the list makers have a list of names and positions and not much else to go on.

A fully fit prime Ali is up there as one of the best players I've ever seen. He's certeinly the forward I have enjoyed watching most of the years.

Forward I have enjoyed watching the most was Hanley. Even if his best days were behind him when he finally arrived at Leeds, he was phenomenal.



It will be interesting to see who gets the 13 shirt, there are some strong candidates...
