| Just watched the game Amor looked strong, Ali was good and Phil Clarke was a fooking hick.

| The rugby gods were clearly conspiring to undermine Mr Clarke's Margin Meter innovation.

| Was it me or does Ali look like he's lost a few Lbs? I was very impressed with his performance but then again, he has been a great all his career. Why should that change now.

He did look quite trim. Must have played at least 60 minutes too.

Struggled with cramp towards the end.
Have their been any comments re the pitch?
A number of players seemed to get grass(?) burns from the pitch on their knees & elbows.

| I think they will learn from the pitch and all it needs is tape or elbow/knee pads to sort that little dilemma out. The players didnt seem to do any complaining at the time. It was just sky pointing it out.

| The Wakey players were probably more concerned about the bloodshed caused through attacks to the head by Cross & his henchmen.
Widnes lack pace & will be ripped apart by the top clubs.

| Cross appeared intent on fully justifying the Leeds management's decision to release him early into his debut season.
The justification for signing him in the first place will forever remain a mystery.

| Can't see why you're all knocking the margin meter. It's half-time prediction was very close as far as the winning margin was concerned. OK, so it got the winning team wrong, but many great inventions are subject to the odd 'teething problems'. I'm confident an intellect as mighty as Clarke's will soon iron this one out.
Once he's sorted it, the RFL could adopt Margin Meter as a sort of rugby equivalent of the Duckworth-Lewis to decide the result of games abandoned at half time due to floodlight failure.

| The 'margin meter' has had a flood of offers for sponsorship deals: William Hill, BetFred, Paddy Power, Ladbrokes, Stan James, Victor Chandler are all vying for a piece of the action.

Indeed. Cross simply can't control himself and has no business on a pitch until he can. Was I mistaken or did they make him captain? Guffaw etc.
Amor was impressive as was Ali in the first half.
