| Luke Burgess has in part become a casualty of Sam going to RU. That broke the whole rationale behind Souths trying to keep all the brothers together. Had Sam not left Luke would probably have stayed under (cheap) contract at Souths for a while as the PR value was huge.

| I think Hardaker has the Ability to do well in the NRL but his general immature attitude and self destruct nature means he is a ticking time bomb over there.

| The owners of Manly were GH's invited guests at the magic weekend. Any chance this rumour has just sprung from their visit somehow?

| Brett Stewart is crocked and probably in his last season, but Tom Trbojevic is pretty much guaranteed to be his replacement at fullback.
Knights would make sense - Brown and Buderus know how good Hardaker can be. Maybe Souths. Maybe the party club at Gold Coast. Slight possibility of Canberra if they ditch Wighton. Everyone else pretty well set for fullbacks.

| I doubt the Roosters would want Hardaker as Mitchell is starting to show form to match his massive potential (at least in patches).

He is a potential Aussie full back - he is one of the most exciting young players in the NRL

| Someone told me today that he'd signed for Canberra. Sticky is known to shop in SL with decent results in Soliola, Whitehead and Hodgson leading the Dally M standings but Whighton hasn't let anyone down. I thought it had been reported because he didn't let on if he had a source so it might be pure speculation and I don't know anybody 'in the know'.

| Given Hardaker's previous with alcohol involved I'm not sure Canberra should be his first choice. Mind you, Hodgson is doing very well after the door incident just before he joined them, so hopefully the culture is a bit different.

Comes up with a few brain explosions though. The intercept pass to the young St George centre the other week after the hooter in the first period of extra time - IIRC that was one of his.
Think Hardaker's game could really benefit from getting away from Leeds altogether now. The NRL could be the place to grow up but in the end it's down to the individual whether they take the opportunity.
