For the bench for me Mullally definitely on it because otherwise it's too backrow heavy if Ward/Keinhorst/Achurch all were selected, add in the other bench prop of Cuthbertson isn't 100% so we need another prop on the bench. If Ward is to feature is should be for Achurch.



Wouldn't be surprised to see Golding on the bench though if Lilley's shoulder is still a potential issue to last the game.

Will do! The North Star looks a decent boozer and has live music. Could be tempted to have a post-match bevvy in there and stagger back to Greenford later on.

I dont hink stevie ward is an injury risk if he is back to full contact training. However even if he is fit I don't see how he can be match fit.

London showed last week that they can score points so it may be a risk to have someone who likely won't be up with the pace of the game.

Shows agains why we need a reserve team.



Guess the question is, would you play an undercooked Ward over Achurch?

I think with a 4 forward bench you could get two 10/15 mins spells out of him a half (we know Ablett and Ferres as starting 2nd rows won't spend much time on the bench anyway). Whilst I'd go for Keinhorst for the bench I'd imagine he'd be the one to make way (if Ward does get picked) rather than Achurch going on how much game time they're getting in recent games.

Unfortunately York seems quite expensive now compared to other places to get to London. Or it has been the last few times I've tried to book trains for the cup final or for internationals.
