Perhaps, with the significant numbers of Community Coaches the RFL have out there offering coaching in schools, this will work in RL's favour.

I don't mean to sound harsh because redundancy is not nice and wouldn't wish it on anyone but 225 managers seems to be a lot of money for something that we never had as children but we were all active( in the majority)

I heard some news this morning. Discussions are to be held about training ex soldiers to be school teachers to give them little brats some discipline. That is worth a thread.

I'd really like discussions about teaching to be on its own thread. That way I could rule out even having to read it at all. The Mrs. is a teacher, thus I have no desire whatsoever to discuss modern day teaching on here or modern day children on here!

I thought that myself, but I was directly quoting how you should've used the word. Meaning had I put "Blasé" in my post, that would've suggested that you too should've used the capitalised version in your post and that would've been wrong.



Granted it is subject to opinion but I'm sticking with the lower case "b" as the correct usage in this instance.

Seth has a serious point here if there's no access to thess sports or coaches where are all these kids gonna cocentrate their energy?

Do we really want our kids to be deprived of sport or facillities?

Whilst we all know the cuts are coming these WILL have a huge effect longer term if kids are no longer doing sports and then putting time into X-box ,Hanging around the streets etc etc plus as much as some mock where will the next Elite athletes come from?

My kids love doing sport in and out of school and these cuts threaten that so i'm all for the petitions and protests to protect these vital services as i am with immenant ones to protect the Emergancy services etc etc.
