Quote Peter Kingsley="Peter Kingsley"You know it actually doesn't matter what happens to the ball in the air. It's the direction it leaves the players hands and it didn't leave sinfields hands forward. It was the same as your try at the end of the first half.'"
To be honest, I thought the pass was slightly forward and the 'drift' took it even more forward.
Anyway, it made no difference to the outcome and didn't stop the deserved winners taking the trophy.
As for the so-called 'assisination' attempts on Sinfield?.....Come on guys, its rugby, let's not dilute it even more further than we already have done. Certain players will be targeted, mostly legally, occasionally illegally. I thought yesterday was a good, old fashioned game of rugby between two hard playing, evenly matched sides and Sinfield's performance was exceptional, even more so because he had obviously been identified by Wire as the dangerman and yet he still saw off that challenge and lead his team to a good win.
I've said in another post somewhere that, until yesterday, I was pretty unconvinced by your skipper, but after that performance I will definitely view him in a more favourable way....Great player and a great leader.
