Correct it was infuriating when you were in a pub in the Leeds suburbs and drinking up time was ten thirty. Also your Sunday lunch time session was curtailed at Three o'clock . All stupid rules and regulations.

what im gathering from some of these responses...... Call Lane is a bad place to drink but all the Wetherspoons are fine....... okaaaaay



Call Lane is alright through the day bit rubbish at night though.



my recommendations Aire Bar, Azucar, The Adelphi (is leeds utd arent playing), The Hop, Distrikt, North Bar, Wax Bar, Foleys, Bierkeller, Nation of Shopkeepers..... Escobar is alright too as is Carpe Diem

North Bar is ace for imported premium beers. Haven't been in Nation for ages. Last time we looked through the window it was dead & they wanted £3 to get in. I just would totally stay away from the bottom end of town, especially call lane, it's a ghost town.

The best pub in Leeds city centre, Whitelocks.

Angel Inn probably sells the cheapest alcohol in town. Duncans just off Call Lane looks like a no nonsense type of place that could sell pints for reasonable prices.

Do they still do Special Brew on tap in The Duncan?

Has anyone been in Spencers lately? I heard its been taken over. Im going to Leeds Saturday, few beers then meal at Reds true barbecue, has anyone eaten there? Any good?
