I noticed that about the commentary too. Things they only manage to spot in super slo-mo are flagged up as massive blunders by officials.

Watched the 2004 Easter game against Bradford. Non stop action and so exciting - took me right back to being in that full house crowd.



Two non Leeds points though.



1. Stevo - what a negative, opinionated git. Did his best to ruin it for the viewer.



2. It must break the hearts of any Bradford fans who see it to have gone from that top of the table clash to where they are now.

It breaks my heart a bit too. Those derby matches were superb occasions, with massive crowds and excellent atmospheres.

Totally agree, I always looked forward to games against the Bulls. I also think that SL is still financially disadvantaged by their absence from the top flight, they had a huge following home and away.

they never had home which was a huge issue money wise. at least half the crowd were on freebies. they handed them out like confetti

Leeds fans used to kick this myth around a lot back in the day to prove some point about plastic fans. But it wasn't true then and it's still not true now - they certainly did more of it than Leeds did but it wasn't anywhere near half, or even a quarter.

I'd ask around. I worked in bradford at the time. nobody I worked with paid. freebies were ten a penny

Not when they were playing at Headingley? As I recall our home games against the Bulls were usually our biggest crowds of the season.

Bulls are where they are thru their own mismanagement no point feeling sorry for them.



I feel more sorry for the companies that they never paid.



If SL misses a club like that its a sorry state of affairs
