Slopping out time at Nandos?

The thought crossed my mind but in reality I think the injury was caused by McGuire hyper-extending his knee after he grabbed Carmont.

After watching that clip on the skysports website a couple of times I think it was a bit of both.



Danny has his hand on Carmont early on then his leg seems to crumple but its only as he goes down that he really commits to dragging Carmont down.



I wouldn't have thought it's quite as SaintJames descirbes it more that Danny knows he's going down and doesn't want Carmont to get away unmarked so decides that the best option is to risk giving away the penalty.



One other thought on the video - is it just me or does Richards almost stop playing entirely to call for a penalty...not the smartest of moves

It was like watching jason vorhees run over to massacre a victim. Not a pretty sight.

I've watched the incident on sky using the slo mo, the damage to McGuire has already occurred when Riddell runs over to him, but, Riddell appears to stand on McGuires left foot with his right one.

I can't say that I understand the furore over the shirt pulling it happens in almost every game. Its very dissapointing that supporters are glad that a player is injured.

Thinks Richards slows down to try and look to pass for Carmont, only to find him not there.



Pretty sure Mcguire was taking Carmont out before his knee buckled, he had his hand on his shirt pulling him back then DM clips the back of Carmonts heel and thats when his leg goes.



Good luck to the lad for his recovery, shocking way to end a quality season.

Looks like mcguire grabs him with out actually pulling him back taht hard, then as his knee goes thats when he pulls him down, think if they had both stayed on their feet wouldnt have been a big issue

Obviously you weren't watching when many of the Leeds players were crowding around Alibert throught the game - including Senior who at one point grabbed Aliberts arm after he gave a pen for Tomkins getting a smack round the chops. If that had been Ganson in the middle he would have been straight off and facing a 5 match ban
