It's my last day at work till January 2nd, I am currently baking a massive home made pork pie and my son was squirted with water by Keith Chegwin today at the panto.



Just thought I'd post that as I don't have a Twitter account (and never will).

Well I know that NOW.

I can't comment about the pork pie but his recipe for teacakes with the addition of slightly more liquid produces excellent results.

As for Mary Berry I use her recipes to give the boss a rest with very tasty results.

Breadcakes with a pattie filling are by far the best cake.

Anyone able to translate this? Breadcake could be a teacake I think but as for pattie I've no idea. None of it sounds like cake to me!

I'd certainly disqualify it in a cake-off on the current evidence such as it is.



What is needed is a photograph to establish its cake viability, it sounds very much like a sandwich to me at the moment but hey, the internet reaches far and wide and maybe this poster comes from Hull in which case anything goes.
