Agree with eagle, just look at mags, burrow and Sinfield shirt numbers and where they have played of late.props become loose forwards every 10 minutes as well.

Was going to say the same. I can't see any particular difference in the positions other than the strengths and weaknesses the individual players have.



You could name any of McGuire, Burrow, Sutcliffe and Sinfield at either stand off or scrum half and not see any difference in how they play.

indeed, its interesting how people see McGuire as a stand off filling in at scrum half, Sinfield as a loose forward playing stand off and Burrow a scrum half filling in at hooker, yet even in our first GF Mcguire played scrum half, Sinfield stand off and Burrow hooker. That we have also been wildly succesful with McGuire at Stand Off, Sinfield at loose and Burrow at scrum half is a testament not only to those players as individuals, but as a group and their ability and versatility to play where the team needs them to a unbelievably high level.
