I've just watched all the grand finals and now I'm very appreciative of the unsung heroes who made great contributions to these wins. I mean even Walters weve all gone on about him ,but he was on hand in position to score 15 minutes from the end to win by 2 points

Eric Harris, Lewis Jones and John Holmes never did that.

Just watching the 2009 GF and loving the inconsistency in the commentary - Saints try it looks pretty clear that Eastmond knocks on into Donald before scoring "I think you've got to give benefit of the doubt to the attack." Fast forward to our last try and it's very tight as to whether Lee Smith is onside "You can't give benefit of the doubt on such an important decision."
11 years later, I know the result, I know the commentary doesn't matter but it still winds me up. God I miss sport.

Agree. Im a RL fan and i cant watch the current setup on Sky so how does a guy down south with no real RL interest cope?

The NRL has had some fantastic commentators over the years and when you watched their live TV games,
Ray Rabbits Warren was the best commentator ever IMO,He really got you interested and brought the game to life.
His State of Origin and Grand final offerings were amazing
Vossy is still doing a great job commentating currently in the NRL and is so much better than anyone we have had commentating over here |

In all honesty I'm not really that bothered about the commentating, I just like watching the games and don't notice what's being said too much as I'm doing my own analysis......
