Bit pish poor by Eastwood given the club's support of him through his erroneous chase for a permit and him omiting certain elements that led to his initial refusal. For the club to then continually support him and then as a highly paid, grown man get a little homesick is quite frankly, beans. Man up Greg. It's England not Basra.



Also seems a smart bit of business by GH to place a fairly high value in the current climate on him. Clearly in the hope for a like for like swap with an NRL outfit with someone OOC next year. Eastwood has been good in spells but injuries have not helped him.

I remember you saying something along the lines of Eastwood being a waste of a contract. Which if you're talking about his ability is total nonense. He'd probably get into any side in the world.

With the rumours of this having circulated since what seems like almost his arrival is disappointing to find for once rumours can be true.

Personally i cannt understand people with a god given talent to excel at a sport at levels we fans only dream of and earn a living but dont have the maturity to do it and enjoy travelling the world and the experiences that go with it and last a lifetime.Or did i just answer the question in fact?

I find it hard to accept that injuries have made it hard to settle as a sole criteria for being unsettled.Injuries go with sport at any stage in a career,including the many overseas players here,both past and present.

The time and effort its taken to get him here only adds to the dis satisfaction....does he fit the BDL persona often mentioned by McLaren field?

I would think in recent years he is the exception at Leeds rather than the rule.I am sure there are many his age in UNIFORM who would like to be able to walk out so easy...
