On a wider note it's a tad worrying about Peacock's behaviour. He managed to go an entire career without manhandling a ref or mouthing off to fans yet after leaving Leeds in the space of 1 season he's been offering fans out for a fight in a car park, calling people who disagree with him morons, and having a go at ref's on Twitter.



I hope he regains his composure because otherwise he won't be much use to Hull KR as a bigger version of Ben Cockayne.

My guess is it's frustration. His body won't do what he wants anymore and he's letting the anger out in other ways.

Think maybe Twitter might not be the best place for some people who are used to physical confrontations.

Yeah probably. Most RL players seem pretty good on Twitter to be honest, especially given some of the stuff they have to put up with, but then I don't understand those who can't restrain themselves from having public accounts.

He got away with joke play-the-balls for years without getting penalised, refs just ignored it. Every ball he played he never got anywhere near putting his foot on it. I know a lot of players get away with it nowadays but JPs were rubbish, he puts the ball down and just strides over it. That is a penalty every play he makes.

What's that got to do with composure? For a prop forward Peacock was very composed. Rarely getting into or causing fights and not at all niggly either with or without the ball.

Not if the refs let him get away with it

Does is really matter? Really? Get some perspective. Next you will be telling me supporters are walking away from the game in droves due to the play the ball.
