It's very strange that Tommy L was investigated by the RFL disciplinary panel for an alleged incident on the 80th minute involving Danny McGuire - seemingly on the say so of Bluey, when the player involved was clearly Piggy (well - clear to anyone who isn't blind.....).



Who decides what incidents get reviewed, the RFL or opposition coaches?

It's more relevent than "cough, cough Keith Senior". Senior's disciplinary record is extremely good, your purile comment bears no relevence to his actual behaviour. Why did half the Wigan team charge at Kevin Sinfield after an innocuous challenge on Stuart Fielden? Not a high shot, not worthy of a rediculous over reaction.

If you are going to mention a player at least try and pick one with a poor record for giving away penalties. He's given away less than both your centres this year, even though he's made more tackles and carries. But maybe that's because Kevin Sinfield and the rest of the Leeds team are intimidating the ref all the time?

You weren't talking about players giving penalties away, you were talking about players needlessly charging in on any incident.

Most unfortunate that Danny chose to pull back the slower moving Carmont. He had Carmont covered anyway and could have tackled him had he been passed the ball. The action of pulling back on Carmont's shirt caused McGuire to trip up as he tried to avoid Carmont's legs. So many injuries are caused when a player goes down unexpectedly.

I mentioned Keith Senior because it was in context to the point about crowding around the ref and it happenned in fridays game! Just because it isn't mentioned in SL stats doesn't mean it isn't one of the FACTS you seem to like so much !



I could start quoting that wigan have the best points difference in the SL this season - it doesn't mean that they are going to win every game though does it?



Keith was one of many players surrounding the ref when he called a pen for a high shot on Joel - he was also the only player who grabbed the referees arm. That seems quite relevant to your point about players ganging up around the ref doesn't it?



The last time I remember a player grabbing a refs arm he got a 5 match ban, in this case Keith didn't get anything, just a scared look from Alibert - he's a pretty lucky boy his 'stats' aren't much worse.
