The mods have a choice. Clean this thread up so the only thing that’s left is the original post, lock it and put it as a sticky for a week or two. Alternatively you can leave the thread as it is and I’ll show each and every critic of mine up for what they are and will provoke a reaction which will no doubt be enjoyable to read – that could come at the end of the day when I’ve finished doing more important things. Either way I’m sure you’ll come to a right decision even if you decide a third way.



But I’d much rather be on a nicer RLFANS where me and my critics mind each other’s business and stay out of each other’s way. Both Tad and LTID have posted threads about raising money for charity and I could give them a much harder time than what they’ve given me on my ‘make society a better place’ threads in recent times. But I’m not like them two unless I really get provoked.



Finally I’m convinced there’s a deep rooted jealousy by some on here because at least people comment on my threads and some openly support what I’m doing on these same threads alongside all the criticism I get. These two don’t even get that.

I don't know anything about Damo's (un)employment history so I can't really comment on his situation, but someone being on the dole doesn't necessarily make them a sponger, and there being vacancies at a workplace doesn't necessarily mean that an individual will be able to get a job there.



Bearing that in mind it might be worth looking at the article in the YEP.

I’m not 100% sure what he’s doing because I’ve been busying trying to get several things off the ground. I bumped into him at the barbers not too long back and he’s doing really well. But I’ll find out for you and let you know via PM later on.

Companies are tightening up, people are working all hours, and prices for everything are going up. People then have to pay taxes and it in turn goes to people who I quote "will be spending £50 on cocktails".



You haven't really ever worked a proper days work in your life. Can you not understand why posters on here get fed up at you? Especially when a fair few, me included have sent you in the direction of many job opportunities.

I understand there is a particular road you want to go down, but there is a time for stubbornness and selectivity, when you are claiming government handouts, this is not the time for it.



I do hope you're trolling when you're playing the sympathy card, because if you're not, you really are becoming a tad deluded. I hope one day you do listen to this constructive critisism and work 9 until 5, and like I have said to you before, you will no doubt thank me and wish you had done it sooner.



It's ok saying "you have all your life for it", but I dont think you have. The longer you leave it, the worse it will be as companies will look straight past all the "dancing in a radio leeds studio, and nagging nick clegg's team to say a few words in the local paper. They will ask the ultimate question "what actual work experience do you have?

The only people who are cracking up are my critics.

What is the t shirt money going towards? I know it says regarding podcasts but practically what stuff is needed to do this?

The money is going towards wages and expenses. I’ll be paying myself a modest wage of £100 a week for 26 weeks. Obviously if I get more work elsewhere then I can use the money funded through the t-shirts to pay someone else a wage.



Expenses will be for things like traveling to meet people who want to be a part of the show amongst other things.
