Nothing pedantic about it. He is the reason Leeds went up, without him they wouldn't have even been close to the play offs. To pick two goals as defining memory makers is ridiculous, especially when one was just to get through to the next round of the cup.
Beckford will be remembered for been a damn good striker with an excellent scoring ratio. I doubt in 20 years anyone will remember that goal against Bristol, or even that one at Old Trafford. They will remember the amount of goals he got to take them up though. |

He'll be remembered for those 2 goals more than anything else.
Think about it he scores the goal that gets us a win away at OT for the 1st time in decades whilst we are a 3rd division team and knocks them out of the F.A. Cup then scores THE goal that takes us up of course fans will remeber those 2 goals in particular and more than any others he's scored.
Of course his scoring ratio will be rememebered but to say those 2 goals that are the Biggest Goals in his LUFC career won't be remembered is a bit daft imo mate. |

I was still buying season tickets year after year when we re-signed this dude.
I remember gerrin back off me jollies and going to the first game and looking at the squad on the back of the programme and thinking 'What...the...f-ck...is this?!' Our team was horrible. I swear to god we had Kevin Pressman was a back up keeper or something. Soooo bad. |
