To be fair, make it means holding down a regular first seventeen spot, playing each game.
At times McShane has most certainly made it, but the coach wouldn't back him when required, so a bit of an enigma. |

Quite simply his face didn't fit at Leeds. He never got a decent run of games at 9, any creativity and kicking game was coached out of him. He didn't get a fair crack from the sounds of it.
