There appears to be widespread acceptance amongst Tykes fans that their attendance figures are systematically over-stated, but then that will only ever be hearsay. The same may well apply to London. |

Actually, in some cases it's more like reading a review of the Batman film on the internet and then complaining that the local cinema is showing the new X-Men film next winter.

Ive watched neither Batman nor X-Men films, at the cinema or anywhere else, nothing but nothing will ever match the Adam West Batman, nothing, do you hear, nothing, Batman should always be played slightly camp and very hammy, Robin should always be over the top and bouncing around like he's just taken a tub full of amphetamine and there should always be that suspicion hankering in the background that "Should a wealthy man be permitted to have a younger ward live with him in his remote house, what were the adoption agency thinking ?" |

I find the new batman film franchise (mean and moody) all a bit boring actually.
Probably many won't agree but I found the mid 90's film version of Batman the most enjoyable, Batman Forever. Val Kilmer as Batman, Tommy Lee Jones as Two Faces, Jim Carey who was born to play Riddler and Nicole Kidman for the eye candy. Good cast and the film seemed to read colourfully like the comic books of that era.
