To be honist im not all that confident about tonight's match with Warrington, i mean yeh we have had ALOT of injuries but it seems like there's no spirit in the squad like there used to be so if we win it will give alot of people hope that we can do it

That said I'm not confident!! This game is very much a case of head says one thing heart says the other!

Despite horrific injury problems, we've finished 2nd. We've beaten Wigan, Warrington and Leeds with weakened teams.



You don't manage that without spirit or bottle.

From the perspective of a Leeds fan I think you have a reasonable chance. Tony Smith encourages his teams to play an open style but they're more than capable of putting in the odd shocker. In any case, you'e no slouches when it comes to play off rugby.

Think the original post was a little harsh. If I was a saints fan i'd be quietly confident about playing us tonight. You've finished second in the table after a season where key injuries have tested your squad's depth no end, and I tip my hat to you for that.



Considering we've beaten you once since Hitler first groomed his tash, I'm open minded with this fixture. If Saints win, so? Whats new? If we win, about time!

Who cares as long as we win when we meet almost certainly meet again in a fortnight's time. Lull them into a false sense of security.

I think hearing matty smith on the teamsheet tonight would make me a whole lot more confident not because hes a brilliant player but he knows what hes doing and he will want to impress, and will look brilliant compared to some players we coule have there.

We have spirit but sometimes its hard for 'big' teams to get up for games v crusaders and harlequins...

Warm up game tonight, real deal is a couple of weeks away. But it would be nice to win, just to keep THAT record going.

I always thought it was the wrong choice to release Smiffy. Looks like the club are finally realising it too.
