He's probably the best I've seen. Paul Loughlin was our kicker when I started watching, but he was going downhill by then. Lyon was good, as were Goulding and Long at their best, but I don't reckon any of them ever reached the levels of consistency and nerve that Foster has shown this season.

In Super League he kicked 162 goals from 203 attempts which off the top of my head represents a 79.80% return.



In his last two seasons with us Longy had a kicking percentage of 73% in 2008 and 62% in 2009.



Since 2004 Paul Wellens has a kicking percentage of 41.30% for us.

Why do you feel the need to tell people you're doing it without a calculator? This thread is about Jaime Foster and his skills, not what mental arithmatic you can do. Unless you want gratification from the forum?



Foster will hopefully be able to hone his skills and become a full international in years to come, hopefully his kicking skills will be vital. Quick one, as I don't watch your team every week, does he ever undertake the infield kicking? Seems to be pretty accurate with his boot (granted different skill)

I've never seen him do it to be honest, apart from the odd panicked bomb when we've messed up on the last set. He's done a few decent chips down the line etc, but no positional kicking that I've seen.
