I am surprised If you really have signed Travis for three years at his age. He admittedly played very well in the first half of this season but lately he has been very average. Last year his first with us left most fans quite disappointed at the level of his performance. I presume you have offered him a good wedge. He must be laughing all the way to the bank. I cannot question his commitment on the field even if he does not always channel it in the right direction. If he does join you I wish him success but not when you play us of course.

If you think that is a true comparison of their worth either in playing or financial terms I think you will be disappointed.

On a more serious note I would add Burns does seem to be a less extravagant version of Rangi, he adds a lot in terms of competitiveness and off the cuff play but that seems to be at the detriment of the team as a whole. Will be interesting to see how he goes alongside Walsh as he never worked alongside Dobson.



As someone said earlier he was top drawer earlier in the season but has been dreadful in the 2nd part of the season whether this was down to his impending move we'll never know. In all fairness I'd gladly take Hohaia as a swap.

It's always good to get well thought out comments from rival fans that advance the discussion. We have not done very well this year, there is no denying that. However we would have been much higher if we had been able to play you at home every fortnight. You must really love coming to East Hull.

We are at the end of one of the worst periods in Saints history. Some of our recently departed players wouldn't nave been classed as reserves 10 years ago. We are at present rebuilding the squad to get back to where we think we deserve to be. We're not there yet but we finished top. You didn't make the 8. My comment was merely a dose of reality.
